I arranged three peppers (red, green and yellow) to paint a Still Life. I liked the way the yellow one looked alone, so I painted it and the other two went in chili.
I started painting this years ago and abandoned it thinking it was going nowhere. Anna spotted it and encouraged me to finish it. So I did. I gave it to her and now it is hers.. in more ways than one! Acrylic painting on stretched canvas, 24 x 36"
I've always tended towards painting in a graphic or design oriented style. More recently I've taken a more representational approach to my painting and I like it, but I think I'll continue painting the graphic ones as well. Here's a painting I had fun with from years past. Oil painting on stretched canvas, 16 x 20"
