Under Leaves


One summer, a large, interesting looking weed grew up in our driveway. I liked the way the leaves glowed when sunlight shown on them from above. I took a photo of the plant from the ground looking toward the sky and made this painting from it.

Pink Moon

I've always tended towards painting in a graphic or design oriented style. More recently I've taken a more representational approach to my painting and I like it, but I think I'll continue painting the graphic ones as well. Here's a painting I had fun with from years past.
