Towards Raccoon Creek


Part of my commute everyday is over Raccoon Creek just south of Palmyra. I made this painting from a photograph I took near there with a wary eye towards passing pickup trucks and cars. Inexplicably, most of the trees, the bridge and the creek disappeared, but the lines of the highway stayed.
