Dark Valley



Dark, shadowy trees in the distance. I was going to paint something very different (brighter and crisper) from the photograph I was working with. These trees in a small part of the photograph in the background caught my eye and I went with this instead.

Pink Moon

I've always tended towards painting in a graphic or design oriented style. More recently I've taken a more representational approach to my painting and I like it, but I think I'll continue painting the graphic ones as well. Here's a painting I had fun with from years past.
